DOMESTIC BASKETBALL COMPS
ALL YEAR ROUND
Domestic basketball is a local social competition run by Swan Hill Basketball Association for new or experienced players. Junior domestic competitions are suitable for children and teenagers after social, fun basketball in a structured competition. This competition can be a pathway to representative and more advanced basketball.
DOMESTIC COMPETITIONS
UNDER 8'S
TERM ONE ONLY
2026 - KIDS BORN IN 2019
Our Under 8’s basketball competition only run in Term 1 each year.
This Competition will be for the Top Age Aussie Hoopers from Term 4 from the previous year to allow kids to have more match play before heading into Under 10’s in Term 2 and Term 3.
UNDER 10'S
ALL YEAR ROUND
2025 / 2026 - KIDS BORN IN 2017 / 2018
Our Under 10’s basketball competition run all year round hoever this competition does run smaller seasons – up to 6 to 10 weeks.
JUNIOR COMPETITION
ALL YEAR ROUND
Our Junior Competition for Under 12’s, Under 14’s, Under 16 and Under 19’s run all year round.
Summer Competition October – March.
Winter Competition May – August.
SENIOR COMPETITION
SELECTED TERMS
MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 14 TO PLAY.
Our Senior Competition usually runs in our Summer Competition.
Summer Competition October – December.
Winter Competition – Depends on the interest.
BUILD PRO
We are delighted to be apart of the Buildpro Junior Pro Program for the second year and welcome the sponsorship of our domestic competition for our season 25-26.
Players/ teams or individuals will be nominated by the association to be a recipient for the Junior Pro player of the “week / month” Program.
This will be awarded to those players/ teams/ individuals who play basketball in good spirit, provide support, encouragement, get involved, participate, assist and who just simply strive to be the best they can be for their team and or the association.
This is a wonderful opportunity for players to be recognised for their contribution to basketball as well as receiving loads of giveaways.
